Where are you licensed to provide therapy?
Esther Kim, LMFT, is licensed to provide therapy in Texas. If you reside in Texas, you are eligible to work with her through TwoBecomeOne PLLC.
What is online therapy and how does it work?
Online therapy is conducted virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. All you need is a stable internet connection, a private space, and a device with a camera and microphone.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can request an appointment through our Contact form or by reaching out via email at therapy@twobecomeonepllc.com. Once we receive your request, we’ll follow up with available times and next steps.
What can I expect after I contact TwoBecomeOne PLLC?
Once you reach out, we’ll schedule a brief 10-minute phone or video consultation to see if we’re the right fit for your needs. During this conversation, we’ll learn more about what you’re looking for, discuss our approach, and answer any questions you may have about working together.
If we decide to move forward, we’ll send you a secure intake form to complete before your first session. From there, we’ll talk about availability and scheduling, set up your first appointment, and begin your therapy journey with TwoBecomeOne PLLC.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, TwoBecomeOne PLLC is an out-of-network provider, which means we do not bill insurance directly.
How much and how long are the sessions?
Our fees are based on the type of session and the level of support you’re seeking. Each session is 50 minutes in length unless otherwise discussed.
Premarital Counseling: $150 per session
Individual Therapy: $225 per session
Couples or Family Therapy: $250 per session
How do I pay for sessions?
We accept major credit and debit cards. Payment is due at the time of service.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to the full session fee.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your mental health care will cost.
Under the No Surprises Act, all health care providers are required by law to give patients who do not have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy.
You are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency health care services, including therapy sessions. You may also request a Good Faith Estimate from your provider before scheduling any service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge. Be sure to keep a copy or photo of your estimate for your records.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
